our worlds collided
While we played the game, Taboo, I've learnt a few things.
Ln: You see this on the ceiling...
Ap & me: fan!
Ln: No...
Ky: Lizard.
The word is 'lizard'.
I learnt that ceilings in HK and GZ are infested with lizards while some ceilings in SG have ceiling fans.
Wn: Sun Ho... she...
Ln: pastor.
Wn: Ya... and she's a lousy singer. So, she has to...
Ap: Pray.
The word is 'lip-sync'.
I learnt that if you can't sing, you'd better be really good in praying. Prayers can help in every single thing.
Ap: Ok, not one, not two... so...
Wn & me: three.
Ap: Ya! And three...
Wn & me: Threesome!
The word is '3-D'.
I learnt that playing Taboo can lead to serious misunderstanding about our innermost desires.
Wn: The yellow thing, you know... it's yellow... you use it when your shoe is spoilt, you use it...
Ky: Iodine.
Wn: You use it to stick your shoes...
Me: Iodine??? You use iodine to stick shoes?
Ky: Um, superglue!
The word is 'superglue'.
I learnt that if you don't have iodine to mend your shoes, you can use superglue. But, iodine's better. Just make sure it's the yellow kind.
